Chief Inspector Thom McLoughlin of Central Scotland Police has been appointed as the new ACPOS Leadership Development Co-ordinator.
Thom will assume his new role on Monday 07 June 2010 and the SCDS team look forward to working with him and welcome him to the team.

SCDS are in the process of conducting trial projects with:
executive team members at both Lothian & Borders and Tayside Police;
Chief Inspectors at Central Scotland Police; and new to post Chief Inspectors and Superintendents at Northern Constabulary.
A full review of SCDS is taking place regarding the future governance, structure and business of the unit.
The interim report has been submitted and the review has now entered the stakeholder consultation phase.
