The Leadership & Professional Development Division keeps the content of its programmes at the forefront of evidence-based learning through established partnerships with the Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR) and now the Scottish Institute of Business Leaders (SIBL).
Founded on the principles of the Leadership Charter and underpinned by a blend of applied academic research and best practice, the Division delivers a number of core leadership programmes:
In addition to some of our programmes winning Scottish Policing Awards, they are subject to ‘credit rating’, earning points at internationally recognised Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework levels to help candidates articulating these into the Professional Development Framework and University level qualifications.
We also design and deliver bespoke programmes using the skills and expertise of our staff and from recognised experts across Police Scotland.
